About the Journal
The Bhutan Journal of Research and Development (BJRD) is a biannual, peer-reviewed journal published by the Royal University of Bhutan through the Office of the Vice Chancellor.
Scholarly Focus
BJRD aims to promote and advance high-quality research and scholarship across education, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and related interdisciplinary fields.
The journal welcomes a diverse range of scholarly contributions, including theoretical and empirical research papers, review articles, research notes, short communications, and book reviews that contribute to knowledge generation and inform policy.
Academic Standards and Peer Review
The journal upholds rigorous academic standards through a blind peer-review process and encourages interdisciplinary scholarship that addresses contemporary issues, emerging challenges, and innovative practices relevant to Bhutan and the broader global context.
